Eksplorasi Inovasi dan Pengetahuan: Program Mini Riset SMA Edu Global

Mini riset adalah salah satu program unggulan dari SMA Edu Global dengan tujuan agar siswa mampu menuangkan ide-ide kreatifnya dalam memecahkan suatu pokok permasalahan pada lingkungan kehidupan mereka dalam bentuk karya tulis ilmiah. Sasaran dari program ini adalah siswa kelas 11 yang terdiri dari 2 orang setiap kelompoknya. Setiap kelompok akan mendapat dua orang guru pembimbing, yaitu pembimbing 1 adalah guru mata pelajaran yang berkaitan dengan topik mini riset yang dipilih oleh siswa dan pembimbing 2 adalah guru mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia atau bahasa Inggris sesuai dengan bahasa yang digunakan dalam karya tulis ilmiah siswa.


Setelah beberapa bulan siswa melakukan risetnya dan dibuat laporan dalam bentuk karya ilmiah, siswa akan menghadapi sidang akhir mini riset. Sidang akhir mini riset ini dilaksanakan di penguhung tahun ajaran di kelas 11. Pada saat sidang akhir, siswa mempresentasikan hasil penelitiannya dihadapan penguji 1 dari pihak internal yaitu pengajar SMA Edu Global Bandung dan penguji 2 dari eksternal yaitu akademisi perguruan tinggi. Lalu, setelah menyelesaikan sidang, 3 kelompok dengan perolehan nilai terbaik akan mendapat apresiasi dari sekolah.



Pada 19 Juni lalu, telah dilaksanakan sidang akhir mini riset dan yang meraih perolehan nilai tertinggi adalah Libda Nafisya dan Kinanti dengan judul "Pengaruh Pembelajaran Entrepreneur terhadap Minat Siswa SMA untuk Menjadi Pengusaha Muda". Selanjutnya disusul oleh Natasya dan Keira dengan judul “Effects of The Myers Briggs Type Indicator Phenomenon towards Self-labelling Amongst Teenagers” dan peringkat 3 diraih oleh Najmi dan Dinara dengan judul " Analisis Karakter Game Pokemon terhadap Mitologi Jepang Youkai”


Pada akhirnya program mini riset ini, diharapkan siswa dapat menerapkan ide-ide kreatifnya dalam suatu bentuk karya tulis. Selain itu, juga meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam hal asimilasi dan aplikasi pengetahuan. Sehingga, pembelajaran berbasis mini riset ini diharapkan dapat menegakkan salah satu pilar SMA Edu Global, yaitu Academic Excellence.
