Peringatan HUT Ke-79 Republik Indonesia SMA Edu Global Bandung

Setiap tanggal 17 Agustus diperingati sebagai hari kemerdekaan Republik Indonesia. Salah satu kewajiban warga negara Indonesia adalah mengenang dan menghargai jasa para pahlawan yang telah memperjuangkan kemerdekaan Republik Indonesia baik dengan jiwa, raga maupun harta benda. Kewajiban tersebut dapat diimplementasikan dalam suatu kegiatan yang diadakan setiap tahun yaitu perlombaan 17 Agustus.



Pada Sabtu, 17 Agustus 2024, SMA Edu Global mengadakan Upacara Peringatan Kemerdekaan Ke-79 Republik Indonesia. Upacara dihadiri oleh siswa, guru, tenaga pendidikan, dan civitas karyawan Edu Group. Kepala Sekolah SMA Edu Global, A. Haris Muhtar, S.Si., bertindak sebagai pembina upacara.

Setelah upacara dilaksanakan, para siswa dan civitas karyawan Edu Group mendengarkan sambutan dan motivasi oleh Pendiri Edu Global School, Oki Earlivan Sampurno, S.Mn., M.B.A., M.Sc., Ph.D(c). 


Selanjutnya perlombaan 17 Agustus yang dilaksanakan pada hari Senin, 19 Agustus 2024 berlokasi di SMA Edu Global Bandung melibatkan partisipasi aktif dari seluruh warga sekolah seperti siswa dari tiga angkatan (kelas 10, 11 dan 12), para guru, tenaga kependidikan, tenaga operasional dan lainnya. Beberapa jenis perlombaan yang diadakan adalah lomba makan kerupuk, lomba estafet, lomba tarik tambang, dan lomba voli air. Perlombaan tersebut dilakukan secara perseorangan dan berkelompok. 



Lomba 17 Agustus merupakan momentum yang sangat berharga dalam merayakan kemerdekaan Indonesia. Melalui berbagai jenis perlombaan yang diadakan, semangat kebersamaan, kreativitas, dan sportivitas dapat terjalin dengan kuat di antara masyarakat. Setiap perlombaan tidak hanya menjadi ajang kompetisi, tetapi juga sarana untuk memperkuat rasa nasionalisme dan saling menghargai. Dengan diadakannya lomba-lomba ini, kita diingatkan akan perjuangan para pahlawan dan diharapkan dapat terus melanjutkan semangat mereka dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Semoga setiap kegiatan yang dilakukan dalam rangka merayakan Hari Kemerdekaan ini tidak hanya menjadi kenangan yang membanggakan, tetapi juga mempererat persatuan dan kesatuan bangsa.
