Bandung, June 20, 2025 - The entire SMA Edu Global Bandung team takes great pride in celebrating a remarkable achievement at the Fully Residential School International Symposium (FRSIS), held in Malaysia from June 16 to 20, 2025. Four outstanding teams from SMA Edu Global Bandung, consisting of high-achieving students from Grades 10 and 11 of the 2025/2026 academic year, brought honor to the school by securing two Platinum medals and two Gold medals.
The FRSIS event is a prestigious international symposium that brings together students from leading schools around the world to present their research, innovations, and creative ideas across various scientific fields. This year, the symposium was attended by representatives from multiple countries, including Indonesia, Malaysia, India, Turkey, and Thailand, making it a truly global platform for the exchange of ideas and competition. The participation of four teams from SMA Edu Global Bandung stands as a testament to the school’s strong commitment to nurturing both the academic and non-academic potential of its students on an international stage.
The SMA Edu Global Bandung teams underwent an intensive selection and mentoring process over several months, under the guidance of Mr. Ihsan Khoirul Anam, M.Pd. as the Geography teacher. During this period, they prepared and developed innovative projects covering various disciplines, demonstrating exceptional critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration skills.

The students who won two Platinum medals are:
- Team 1: Rayhan, Badar, Alya, and Adinda (Grade 11)
Research Title: Modernising Sea Turtle Ecotourism in Batu Hiu
- Team 2: Keenan, Farras, Mario, and Farrel (Grade 10)
Research Title: Educational Tour in the Bandung Forest Park Ecotourism Area to Strengthen Visitor Conservation
Meanwhile, the two Gold medals were awarded to:
- Team 3: Aira, Senna, Mikka, and Maliq (Grade 10)
Research Title: Enhancing Community Health and Well-being through Nature Activities in Taman Hutan Raya Bandung
- Team 4: Keysha, Asyifa, Kirana, and Hasbi (Grade 11)
Research Title: Identifying Patterns of Sustainable Cultural Practice in Cireundeu and Girimekar
