In the era of globalization, participation in international events serves as a tangible manifestation of the Muslim community's contribution to promote leadership values and the islamic mission (dakwah). One of the prestigious events that has gained considerable attention is the Nadwah in Islamic Leadership, an international forum which combining the competition, learning, and networking among scholars and young Muslim leaders from various countries. This year, Edu Global Senior High School Bandung proudly achieved remarkable success by winning several prestigious awards: 3rd place in the Dakwah Competition, 8th place (Platinum Award), and the Gold Plate Award in the best charity project presentation competition.
The Nadwah in Islamic Leadership is not merely a competition but a platform designed to unite young Muslim thinkers committed to the mission of dakwah and community development. Participants are encouraged to hone their critical thinking, public speaking, and leadership skills based on Islamic principles. This aligns with the concept of Islam as rahmatan lil ‘alamin (a mercy to all creation), emphasizing the importance of delivering a peaceful, inclusive, and solution-oriented message to the global community.
The delegation from Edu Global Senior High School Bandung prepared intensively to compete in various categories, including the Dakwah Competition, The Best Charity Project Presentation, and the Creative Usrah Competition. These preparations involved training in rhetoric, crafting dakwah materials relevant to global contexts, and simulating charity project presentations. Through unwavering commitment, the participants successfully presented innovative ideas while embodying strong Islamic values.
In Dakwah Competition, the delegation from Edu Global Senior High School Bandung got the 3rd place, an achievement that reflects not only individual excellence but also effective teamwork and thorough guidance. Furthermore, another delegation achieved 8th place, earning the prestigious Platinum Award in the advanced dakwah category. Another proud accomplishment was the Gold Plate Award in the best charity project presentation competition.
